We do require a reservation to play. You can make a reservation online or via phone at 504.667.2583. If you don't see the game you want online, give us a call and we can see if we can accommodate.

We do REQUIRE an advanced reservation. Our online reservation system for New Orleans may only allow bookings up to 2 hours prior to your game time and 3 hours prior to game time in Metairie. If you are less than the online cut off time prior to the game you would like to attend, please call 504.667.2583 to check availability. If there is no answer, we may be watching a game. Please leave a message and we will get right back to you. With 10 games across three locations, we can almost always accommodate last minute bookings!

Please arrive at the Clue Carré at least 15 minutes before your reservation time. The game clock automatically starts at your game time, so an on time arrival is important to give you time for the intro/rules and bathroom time before getting started. It is best to use restroom prior to arrival if possible. Late arrivals will be admitted, but your 60 minute window cannot be extended so you will have less time to plot your escape! No entry will be granted for arrivals more than 15 minutes after your game time.

The escape game costs $32 per person, plus tax in our New Orleans and Metairie locations (60 minute games).

No! Clue Carré offers all PRIVATE experiences! You will not be paired with strangers, There is no minimum purchase. Once you buy tickets, the entire game is exclusive to your party and you are able to bring as many players as you want up to the max capacity for your game. Additional players in your party that decide to join can call to pay and add to your game or can pay upon arrival. Each room was designed for player capacities of between 6 and 10 people, depending on the room.

There is no minimum, but our rooms are ideal for teams of at least 3 players. Since escape games are based on teamwork, it is far more fun and less challenging if you are in a team.

We require at least one ticket to be purchased in advance via credit card payment to secure reservation. Cash or Card can be used on arrival to pay for any other players adding to an existing reservation. Reservations are required and can be made through our online availability calendar..

We generally recommend the games for ages 8 and up with the presence of an adult or ages 14 and up on their own. Any group of kids ages 13 and under will require at least one paying adult to play with them. A ticket is required for all attendees and pricing is the same at any age. 5 years old or younger do not require a ticket, but please let us know if you plan on bringing young children so that we may accommodate. Please note games are not baby proofed.

Tickets are non refundable. However, we do allow you to reschedule your reservation or maintain full player credits for use at future date if it is at least 3 hours prior to your game time. If you cancel less than 3 hours prior to game time, a 2 player cancelation fee will be applied. Any remaining tickets can be used as a credit for a future date. If only one or two tickets were purchased to reserve, no refund or credit will be given. You can alter your reservation by going into your confirmation email and clicking ‘change booking’. This will allow you to switch rooms, dates and times, as well as add players. We can also update your booking for you via email (info@cluecarre.com) or phone (504.667.2583). No show/No Call cancellation before game time forfeits all tickets and available credits.

Each room has their own maximum capacities for safety and comfort. Vampire and Sheriff's Office are our largest rooms with a max capacity of 10 players. Carnival Heist, Revenge on the Bayou, Fright Before Christmas and the Game Museum can accommodate up to 8 players. The French Quarter House of Curiosities can accommodate up to 7 players. The Voodoo Cemetery can accommodate up to 6 players. We will allow one player over capacity, but any more than that would need to be separated into two games. If you would like to book one over capacity, simply book all the tickets and you can pay for the additional player upon arrival.

Unfortunately, no food or drinks are allowed in the game rooms. It is a game of logic and perception and you will need to have your full attention on solving puzzles and uncovering clues to aid in a successful escape. Any individual deemed too intoxicated to participate, may be asked to sit out.

We do offer discounts for parties larger than 30. Please contact us to inquire.

Most of our games are handicap accessible, but please call for specific inquiries regarding room accommodations. The Sheriff's Office is not handicap accessible and certain parts of the French Quarter House of Curiosities are not accessible.
